Top 5 Family History Gifts Are you looking for an unusual gift to give? Give one that will last through the generations! Giving one the gift of their family history is one of the best gifts that you could possibly give! Not only do they get to learn about their past and where they came from, but they can gain a better understanding of who they are and hopefully carry that knowledge down to future generations to come! There are many gifts that can be given to spark an interest in family history, but these are my top 5. As simple as they may seem, these are the first things that sparked an interest into my own family history and genealogy, as they do for many others.

Thanks so much for this helpful blog. All great ideas. Friends sent me a Shapfish holiday card this year and it looked fantastic. I am sure all the other ideas are equally gift-worthy.

Thanks Molly! Did you use your holiday card for a family photo book? Photo books are great gifts to give! And, if you create one with ancestors, along with mini bios, it helps to spark an interest in learning about one's family history! :)
