UGA Summit of ExcellenceIt's All in the Clues!Summit of Excellence 2024 | A Closer Look at the 1850-1950 U.S. Census records in Genealogy | Diane Henriks
Take a closer look at the 1850 to 1950 U.S. Census records as vital genealogy resources, while looking into details you may have missed, along with the benefits to and tips in using these records! Register for UGA’s 53rd Summit of Excellence, and come hear “A Closer Look at the 1850-1950 U.S. Census records in Genealogy”, under their Getting Started track! The Summit of Excellence, is the Utah Genealogical Association’s annual virtual conference that provides premier genealogical education. Distinguished genealogical speakers from all over; including from the Family Search/History Library, Storied, and more, will be giving presentations on a wide range of topics given over a three-day event, from September 5-7, 2024. Thursday, September 5th, will include getting started courses for beginners; although, my presentation is really geared for intermediate researchers. On Friday, September 6th, there will be DNA, records, ethnic, and writing courses for all levels. Saturday, September 7th, topics will include technology, international, migration, and military courses for all. The best thing about a virtual conference is that you can still attend sessions that you’ve missed and will have access to the digital recordings of the sessions for several months after! The recordings will be available until December 31, 2024.
