UGA Summit of ExcellenceWriting and Publishing Your Family History: A Beginner's GuideSummit of Excellence 2025 | Writing and Publishing Your Family History: A Beginner's Guide | Diane Henriks
Discover the fundamentals of organizing, writing, and publishing your family history in this beginner-friendly guide that will equip you with the essential tools to preserve your family’s legacy for generations to come. Register for UGA’s 54rd Summit of Excellence, and come hear “Writing and Publishing Your Family History: A Beginner's Guide”, under their Getting-Started Day (FREE)! The Summit of Excellence, is the Utah Genealogical Association’s annual virtual conference that provides premier genealogical education. Distinguished genealogical speakers from all over; including from the Family Search/History Library, Storied, and more, will be giving presentations on a wide range of topics given over a three-day event, from September 4-6, 2025. Thursday, September 4th, will include getting started courses for beginners. On Friday, September 5th and Saturday, September 6th topics will include DNA, methodology, records, ethnic, writing, tools, and technology courses for all. The best thing about a virtual conference is that you can still attend sessions that you’ve missed and will have access to the digital recordings of the sessions for several months after! The recordings will be available until December 31, 2025. Registration began in June and is still open; you won’t want to miss out!
