I interviewed each of my parents over the holidays during visits to there home. The simple question "how did your family celebrate the holidays when you were growing up" elicited some amazing storied I had never heard! Great advice in this post. Many thanks.

Some great ideas. We include old holiday ornaments and share memories of making them with ancestors or tree hunts from decades in the past. Also every year we make a calendar with old photos and new photos.of family today and yesterday.
