Update to the Congressman Farley Treasure Search:
His great grandson said it was like a Christmas gift, when I spoke to him and heard of this lost family "treasure", and to add to it, I will be building his tree from the quick one I did just to locate a living relative, and will sent it to him, to go with his new family treasure, and to add to his "Christmas gift"... I just love helping and bringing joy to others

So fun, it took me about 30-40 minutes to find quite a few living descendants to this one, and get in contact with one...so interesting...this person was was a 3 term congressman in Indiana! It was an awesome trunk filled with family treasures, that someone had posted in one of my Genealogy Facebook groups, Family Treasures Found! His great grandson was so excited! My heart is full :)
It was so much fun finding a living relative to the owner of a box of pictures and documents found in an attic of a Genealogy: Lost and Found Group member's sister, last week... It only took me an hour to track her one living cousin down, and my heart was filled with so much joy, when I spoke to her on the phone and heard how happy and excited she was to receive it!
This was so fun finding the owner of this! I was able to locate her in 2 hours! I always try to locate owners of lost treasures, so exciting to bring joy to others!
If you'd like to follow the original post, click on the link...it is so amazing to see the response to this, crazy in fact! As of right now, 5:30pm pst, 12/11/2020, it has 9.2 thousand reactions, 3.4 thousand comments, and 146 shares! Crazy! Glad I could be a part of it! https://www.facebook.com/mikell.edens/posts/3842846385736175 UPDATE: As so many people on the original poster's post had wanted to know her story and her reaction, and are finding it hard to sift through the over 3,000 comments to find my answer: She was very surprised and excited when her brother called her to tell her I had contacted him. She spent all her time in libraries as a kid, researching, and decided to do a time capsule on her own, and buried it in her back yard...she said she was a nerd, without many friends...she spent most time by herself.... she became a nurse, married, had 2 sons, has 3 grandchildren, and now lives in Louisiana...she said her day has been made, especially at this time being stuck at home during Covid, and she's thrilled!!!! she also said she was surprised it didn't disintegrate in the Florida weather, along with she's so surprised that people are making a fuss, as she said just put "junk" in it. I called the owner of the original post, and gave her Linda's number...I sent her son the link, so he can see how viral it has gone! Linda will be contacting her sister to try and get a pic of them in front of their childhood home, when they were young. UPDATE 2: Below are 2 pics she just sent me...one from 2016 and one of her in front of her childhood home where her time capsule was found UPDATE 3: So crazy by about 1pm this afternoon (12/12/20) when the original poster updated her post as Linda Sue being found, it had gotten 12,000 reactions, 4,600 comments, 178 shares, had reached all over the United States, and the WORLD (Africa, Canada, Australia, England were just some I saw in the comments, but too many comments to scroll through )!
It was fun tracking down the owner to this This was posted in the genealogy Facebook Group, Genealogy: Lost and Found...I was able to locate the owner of the time capsule in 2 hours a few days ago, and she just got back to me and confirmed it was her...she is super excited, but there are over 2,000 comments on the original post, that I don't know if the original post holder can see my comments to privately message me for the lady's number...hope she does :)
